	About AME Medical Group: AME Medical Group is structured to provide facilities, management and support services to community based independent contractor physicians who wish to devote a portion of their time to evaluate workers compensation cases. AME's management and office staff allows physicians to focus exclusively on performing evaluations, articulating their opinions and eliminates the burden of administrative responsibilities. Our goal is to get credible reports out in a timely manner based on thorough physical examinations, pre-authorized diagnostic testing, and the history and review of the patient's medical records. We have provided quality reports for over 300 workers compensation insurance carriers including self-insurance administrators and third party administrators. Appointments are available with board-certified physicians from Monday through Friday and rush appointments are welcome. Our History: AME Medical Group, Inc. was founded in 1997 to meet the growing demand for disability management and occupational injury expertise. Considering the need for excellent "Qualified Medical Evaluators" in the disability management area, we have formed this group of quality independent physicians, who have several years of experience in workers' compensation evaluations and managed health care All calls to this office will be returned within 24 hours by our friendly staff. Billing is in compliance with the California Workers' Compensation Official Medical Fee Schedule and Medical Legal Fee Schedule. All medical legal evaluation, AME, QME, IME, D-QME, AOE/COE, fitness to duty examinations, functional capacity examination and second opinion consults (L.C. 4050) are performed with an aggressive, impartial, yet conservative approach. Independent physicians, specialized in workers' compensation and occupational health care, ensure quality reporting while maintaining the highest ethical standards. Expert determination with the substantiation on AOE/COE cases, and on the issues of permanent disability, temporary disability, apportionment and vocational rehabilitation. All medical reports are in compliance with labor code 4628. We can set up interpreter, x-ray facilities, and EMG/NCV facilities if needed. We have a very quick turnaround. Normally, reports are out within 7-10 days from the date of appointment.
